Workshop: Leadership role

This will be a practical, engaging session designed to help you develop effective leadership skills for leading a small team (5–6 people). Whether you're stepping into a leadership role for the first time or seeking to refine your leadership style, this workshop will support you in managing challenges, boosting motivation, and creating a sense

of belonging while getting things done.

What to expect:

key principles for leading small teams effectively;
tools for giving praise, feedback, and delegating with clarity;
tips for building a strong, motivated team culture;
strategies to handle resistance and maintain team drive;
interactive activities, real-life cases, and time for reflection

Pre-work assignment

Please prepare a short reflection (1–2 paragraphs) on a leadership situation you have experienced –either as a leader or as part of a team. What worked well, and what could have been handled differently?

Send your reflection to anja.fijavz@hrm-one.si no later than Sunday, May 18, 2025. This will serve as your starting point for the final leadership exercises during the workshop.
