Sašo Petan

Sašo Petan, PhD, is a hydrologist responsible for development, maintenance and upgrade of the Slovenian hydrological forecasting system that is mostly used for flood forecasting in the Slovenian and the transboundary river catchments. He has been working as an expert on several international projects dealing with operative hydrological and real-time flood forecasting systems as well as flash flood guidance systems for mountainous river basins in India, Austria and South-Eastern Europe.
