He worked in both industry (Syngenta, Basel; Novartis, Siena) and leading research institutions (IBMP-CNRS, Strasbourg; EMBL, Heidelberg; IFOM-IEO, Milan; Institut Curie, Paris) contributing to the research in the field of protein aggregation and production. In the last 15 years his lab actively worked on innovative solutions for nanobody technology and participated to the design of in silico strategies for the rational mutagenesis of binders. He is leader of a national research program in comparative oncology and is involved in intensive international collaborations in the fields of nanoparticle functionalization and biosensor development.
