Rok Žaucer

Associate Professor, UNG-CCSL

He received his PhD from the University of Ottawa in 2009. Since 2011 he has served as the Head of UNG’s CCSL. He has served as the PI and as a collaborator on basic and applied research grants, and as an advisor to the Slovenian Ministry of Culture in the preparation of Slovenia’s strategic document on the national language policy between 2021 and 2025. He is currently a UNG representative in CLARIN.SI (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure, Slovenia), and the UNG responsible for the multipartner project Development of Slovene in a Digital Environment – Language Resources and Technologies. Since 2018 he has served as Co-Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Slavic Linguistics.
