Sara Fortuna

Sara is a researcher at the CONCEPT lab, IIT, Genoa, Italy. She uses atomistic models for the design and the study of (macro)molecular organisation (including colloidal self-assembly) and (macro)molecular recognition. She is the recipient of numerous grants focusing on her current goal: the development of new methods for the design of specific binders capable of capturing with high affinity protein biomarkers for the development of new ligands for medical, biological, and pharmaceutical applications.
