Alina Wróblewska

Assistant Professor, IPI PAN

Prof. Alina Wróblewska is an Assistant Professor in the Linguistic Engineering Group at the Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences. Her research lies at the intersection of natural language processing, machine learning, and computational linguistics, with a particular focus on dependency parsing, morphosyntactic analysis, Universal Dependencies, discourse modelling, and Polish-language resources. She has contributed to resources and tools including the Polish Dependency Bank and COMBO (language-independent system for dependency parsing, POS tagging and other pre-processing NLP tasks) and is involved in international initiatives such as UniDive and CLARIN-PL. Her interdisciplinary background combines a PhD in Computer Science with degrees in computational linguistics, philology, and musicology.
