Victor Greiff

Associate Professor, UiO

Victor Greiff is an Associate Professor at the University of Oslo, specialising in computational immunology. His research combines high-throughput sequencing with artificial intelligence to improve the understanding and treatment of immune-related diseases.

He earned his PhD in Systems Immunology from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2012) and pursued a postdoctoral fellowship at ETH Zürich from 2013–2017. Since 2018, he has been an Associate Professor at the University of Oslo. As of March 2024, he serves as the Director of Computational Immunology at IMPRINT. He is also the Chair of the AIRR Community and the President of the Norwegian Society for Immunology. Additionally, he is an Associate Investigator at NCMM.

Greiff's research focuses on adaptive immunity, computational biology, and AI-driven modelling. He develops algorithms to analyse immune system data, using AI to improve predictions and guide new therapeutic strategies for infectious diseases and cancer.
