Ljubčo Todorovski

Ljupčo Todorovski received his PhD at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, University of Ljubljana. He was a post-doc fellow and visiting scholar at Stanford from 2004 to 2005 and 2011, respectively. Currently, he is a professor of computer science at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana, and a senior researcher at the Department of Knowledge Technologies, Jožef Stefan Institute. His research focus is in the areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning. More specifically, his research interests are developing and analyzing algorithms for learning equation-based, explanatory models from data and formalized domain knowledge, as well as applications of machine learning algorithms to discover scientific laws and models in different domains. In 2018, the University of Ljubljana awarded him a golden plate for his excellent pedagogical and research work.
