Jure Demšar

Jure Demšar is an assistant proffessor at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, and the Department of Psychology at the University of Ljubljana. His research interests mainly lie in the field of computational neuroscience and Bayesian statistical analysis. In neuroscience he is interested in figuring out how modern methods of artificial intelligence could be facilitated in combination with various neuroimaging (e.g., MRI and EEG) and behavioral data, both for increasing our understanding of the brain and for possible clinical applications (e.g., personalized treatment of neural disorders). He is involved in several large-scale international neuroscience projects, such as the Human Connectome Project and the development of the QuNex (The Quantitative Neuroimaging Environment & Toolbox) suite.
