Matija Marolt

Professor, chair of the Department of Multimedia and head of Laboratory for Computer Graphics and Multimedia at the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana. His main research areas are in analysis of multimedia signals, audio processing and music information retrieval. His group is currently involved in projects exploring the application of AI for analysis of written and oral archives, biomedical electron microscopy volumes, evolution of music and vibrational animal communication.
